Headteacher's Message - 2017

Dear parents, prospective parents and visitors

Welcome to our website, it is your window into our school. We want it to give you detailed information about the learning journey that we give to every child, and how we are organised.  The site is also a showcase for the children's achievements.

The Queen's School, Kew, is a Church of England primary school in the London Borough of Richmond, England. We are a Voluntary Aided two-form school in the parish of St Anne's. Queen's encourages every child to reach their full potential, nurtured and supported in a Christian community, which lives by the values of love, compassion and respect.

This section of the website tells you how our school is organised, how we teach, and our plans for the future.   It gives you information about our performance, and school inspections.  Much of this information we are required to share by law - we are proud to give you this and so much more.

We hope our website gives you the flavour of our very, very special school. The children and their learning are at the heart of everything we do. Our children inspire our teachers to be aspirational in their teaching. They inspire our governors and staff to develop the vision for our school that ensures children enjoy their learning journey, achieve excellent academic success and have the personal dispositions and skills to become confident, independent and resilient in the next stage of education.

The Queen's School has proudly served our children for more than 200 years.  Now we look to  future generations and the learning journey they need to equip them for the 21st century. I hope that you and your children will become members of our very special Queen's School Family.
