The Queen's 90th Birthday Street Party

Friday 10th June saw the two Cumberland Road schools, Kew College and Queen's join together to celebrate Her Majesty The Queen's 90th birthday.  The children of both schools, who were seated the length of Cumberland Road, enjoyed a picnic lunch before singing songs (led, of course, by Mrs Noyes) from each decade of the Queen's reign and then having posed for a joint photograph enjoyed some themed activities on both school sites.

We'd like to thank Mrs West for her incredible organisation of the event, Mrs Noyes for devising, rehearsing and leading the music, Kew College and Queen's Parent/Staff associations for refreshments, parents and staff of both schools for their help with the event, the residents of Cumberland Road who have been very gracious and generous in allowing us to close the road for the party and lastly our local MP for Richmond Park and North Kingston, Zac Goldsmith for his support throughout the party.
