Year Group Pages
Welcome to our Year Group pages:
Please click on the relevant year group tab for your child to find more detail about their learning journey.
At The Queen’s school, we use Google Classroom to support learning both at home and at school. Curriculum presentations are available on each Google Classroom page, to explain what to expect in each year group. Any homework / spelling grids will be available for you to access.
When using an online resource, please ensure that children are supervised (in the same room as an adult) and you have enacted parental controls on their device. More details of how to help children be safe online can be found on our website here Keeping Your Children Safe Online.
Spirituality and Wellbeing:
It is important for us to support each other as a community. Therefore, please refer to our Inclusion and Wellbeing section of the website and/or follow the links below for support.

This site also has some useful tips, in particular the 5,4,3,2,1 grounding technique which is an effective tool for managing anxiety for any age. https://copingskillsforkids.com/blog/2016/4/27/coping-skill-spotlight-5-4-3-2-1-grounding-technique
While your child is learning, please remind them to look at our Learning Certainties and reflect on their learning e.g. Have I been a good learner today? How have I been resourceful today? How can I be more ……?
All our Learning Certainties are linked to Bible stories, which are a good way of exploring their meaning. When giving your child feedback and praise it is useful to refer to the Learning Certainties and for example praise your child for being motivated, enthusiastic or determined.
