Mini Olympics

It’s the Olympics Jim, but not as we know it……

Tuesday evening saw us compete in a number of Olympic events.  These were definitely alternative events though!  We started conventionally enough with some short relay races with the usual healthy competitiveness.  However, we soon found ourselves competing for the longest and most accurate “shoe flick”, a distance event constrained to up and over with a tennis ball and a distance event won by creating the longest line of shoes, socks, sweaters and children!  Our final relay event owed more to the dramatic department than the sports department as we took the parts of chickens laying eggs – no honestly!  Everyone had great fun and they all retired happily to bed.
