Activity day!

Beware: extreme activities; click only if you dare!

After yesterday's Parisian adventure, we stayed on site at the PGL centre today.  But this was not an opportunity for rest and recuperation, rather it was an action-packed day which tested the children's mental and physical skills to the limit.

From the adrenalin rush of the abseiling tower and the zipwire (which saw a number of children conquering their fear of heights by scaling a 40ft tree and leaping from the top) to the team challenge (which demanded teamwork, lateral thinking and most terrifyingly, holding on to someone of the opposite sex!) it was non-stop.  And that's without even mentioning the precision target sport of archery and the timed orienteering exercise...

The children were able to enjoy an extended swimming pool session at the end of the day before a well-earned dinner and then there will be a scavenger hunt around the grounds!
