Queen's Play The O2!

Well…. Along with several hundred other school choirs!

Well…. Along with several hundred other school choirs!

Wednesday night saw 60 children from the Years 5 and 6 school choir travel to the O2 Arena to take part in Young Voices 2020.  Young here were nearly 8,000 children singing and dancing to some great music and some special guests including Ruti who won The Voice in 2018 and sang at Young Voices when at Primary school, The Shires who are the UK’s leading country music act and Tony Hadley who probably meant more to the adults but is of course a great solo singer and formally of Spandau Ballet.

s is the largest school choir in the world at our concert.

It was a fabulous evening and thank you to the parents who joined the audience to see us and of course the parent helpers who gave up most of their day and night to accompany us.  Of course, a huge thank you to Mrs Noyes who’s been working with the choir on their singing and dancing since September.  Finally, an enormous pat on the back to children that represented The Queen’s School so well.
