A Slap-Up Tea Party!

Just before half term Queen’s hosted a “Grandparents’ Tea Party”. This was part of the community programme that the school runs. We had a fantastic turn-out with lots of school grandparents (and surrogate grandparents from the local area!)
The afternoon started with tours of the school, followed by a concert of some of the year group choirs, followed by a slap-up tea.
There was also the opportunity for the children to try their hand at knitting and many people brought mementos or shared their memories of our Queen’s Coronation.
