Record Total for Christian Aid Day!

We have raised over £600 so far from our recent Christian Aid Day.
We recently held a Christian Aid Day at Queen’s and there were a number of activities that the children were involved in.
They all listened to a talk by Lisa Douglas, a Youth Worker from Christian Aid, to find out more about the charity. Lisa helped the children to think about what life would be like without a ready supply of food, water and material things.
We all took part in a ‘Make A Bucket Count’ obstacle race, which involved carrying water to experience the difficulty of having to travel long distances to carry drinking water!
Finally each class had a prayer time, thinking about issues such as poverty or food hunger.
