New E-Safety Policy Launched
We chose Safer Internet Day on February 11, to launch our new E-Safety policy. The policy outlines our expectations on pupils, staff, parents and members of the wider community to ensure best practice. The children attended a special assembly and the policy is here on our website and we would encourage everyone to read it.
At The Queen’s Primary School, we recognise the importance of e-learning in developing children’s knowledge and understanding of the world around them. With our commitment to ICT provision comes a responsibility to provide children with a safe environment in which to explore the technological world. As in other areas of life, children are vulnerable and may expose themselves to danger, whether knowingly or unknowingly, when using the internet and other technologies. In our commitment to E-safety, the Queen’s school seeks to address the issues around using these technologies safely and promote an awareness of the benefits and the risks.
You can find the policy on the School Policies page under the About Us tab or by clicking on this link School Policies.
