- Achieving for Children Online Safety Presentation -
In March, 2017 we were fortunate to have Peter Cowley from Achieving for Children come to The Queen’s School to talk to Year 5 and Year 6 children and their parents about online safety.
Peter works with school staff and pupils, governors, frontline professionals, voluntary organisations, GPs and the police on developing approaches to staying safer online. He is also responsible for the smooth operation of the LGfL broadband contract, covering internet access and services in most Kingston and Richmond schools and libraries. He is a qualified teacher and has taught chemistry and computer science, as well as being head of department in two secondary schools.
Peter is a CEOP Ambassador (Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre, a division of the National Crime Agency).
You can find his presentation below.
