The new National Curriculum for Primary schools introduced in September 2014 encompasses a new assessment process which came fully into force in September 2015. This assessment process has changed the way that schools report on the progress of pupils. At Queen’s we have been working hard to introduce a clear and precise way of assessing our pupils and this has meant changes in systems and procedures. As part of the implementation of this we held a very well attended assessment evening in October where the new process was explained in detail.
