This week's focus is on 3D shapes.

So far we have learnt about the difference between 2D shapes and 3D shapes.

2D shapes are FLAT and 3D shapes are FAT and solid.

We have also learnt about cubes and spheres and their properties.

OL – To discuss the properties of 3D shapes.

Wednesday– To recognise and describe the properties of cuboids.

Thursday – To recognise and describe the properties of pyramids.

Friday– To recognise and describe the properties of cylinders

Friday (or next week) – 3D Bingo (Attached document below, if possible please print. Cut out the shape cards and keep the two 'boards' (the pages with the pictures of real-life shapes) as they are and you can play together.
