Welcome to the
Year Six Learning Page
Whilst you are unable to come into school, we want you to be able to keep on learning. Therefore we will update this page every Monday with a variety of tasks to complete over the week.
If you have limited time on a computer or unable to access any of our links, there are lots of things you can do to keep learning going. We recommend that at the very least you continue your daily reading.
Time management is vital, and as year 6s we are expecting you to consider how your work can be divided up over the week. It is likely there will be a couple maths and English tasks to complete everyday, and then more independent topic tasks once these have been completed.
Please don't forget your usual Education City is still available. We're coming to the end of the term so please log in to see if anything needs completing.
Daily and Extra Activities
You will find jokes, riddles, Rebus puzzles and Countdown problems as well as extra activities to do during your home learning time on the attached documents. All answers will put on the website at the end of the week / beginning of the following week.
Our suggested weekly timetable would look similar to this:
|9.00 - 9.30||English Task||English Task||English Task||English Task||English Task|
|9.30 - 9.45||Break|
|9.45 - 10.15||Maths Task||Maths Task||Maths Task||Maths Task||Maths Task|
|10.15 - 10.30||Break|
|10.30 - 11.00||History/Geography||Science||RE||Art||PSHE|
|11.00 - 11.30||Break|
|11.30 - 12.00||Daily reading/independent project work|
